As a self-proclaimed computer enthusiast, I've always been fascinated by the world of technology. From computer builds and repairs, to programming, to networking, or even the fascinating world of IoT. I've always been interested in learning more about the field of Computer Science. Presently, I am immersed in my undergraduate studies at Concordia University, pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering. My foundation in Computer Science Technology, acquired at Vanier College, serves as a robust precursor to my current academic pursuits. Currently, I am using the knowledge I've gained thus far to teach others to code, as well as developing my own software solutions and applications at DriveCX. Of course, I'm always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow as a developer and engineer.

June 2023 - Present
At DriveCX, I've taken on many different projects. The majority of my work has been in upcoming company projects, where I've been responsible for developing new features, fixing bugs, and integrating new APIs. Using PHP, I've developed an MVC backend application that processes data, formats it, and presents it in the DriveCX Dashboard with an AI generated summary using the ChatGPT API. I've also tackled web applications, using Node.js and React, as well as angular, to develop applications that enable retail teams to better communicate, and to help consumers have better experiences in retail locations. Lastly, I've worked on a Flutter Utility, with the purpose of enabling DriveCX to better share business intelligence with potential or current clients.
Software Developer Intern
January 2023 - May 2023
At Hydro-Québec, I was responsible for developing new features for an existing MVC framework that would pull data from a database based on dates provided, plot the data into a graph per time interval, and compile these graphs together to form an animated gif. The gif would allow consultants to visualize the data in a more intuitive way, and it would allow them to evaluate the efficacy of the ML model used for the prediction portion. The project was developed in Python, using a variety of libraries such as Matplotlib, Pandas, and Plotly.
Video Game Database Developer
December 2022 - May 2023
Contracted by John Abbott College, I, with a team of developers, was responsible for creating an educational video game targeted at the Chemistry department. The game was developed in Unity, and I took on the responsibility of developing and integrating the database that would be used throughout the game. The database was developed in the NoSQL Firebase Realtime Database, and it was responsible for storing player data, game data, and the scoring information for the in-game leaderboard.

During my studies at Vanier College, I took on the role of Computer Science tutor for students in earlier semesters of the program. I worked under the tutoring and academic success centre for a semester, and then transitioned to private tutoring for the following summer. During this time, I aided students in understanding the fundamentals of programming, game development, web development, and networking, amongst other things.

As one of the founding members, I was responsible for organizing our discord server, working with the other members to organize events, and collecting knowledge related to FLOSS and Open Source Software to share in various talks and workshops.
Debian Contributor
August 2023 - June 2024
In the past, I contributed to the Debian project by developing a standard for usability testing. With a team of my peers, we performed multiple instances of these usability tests to collect data on ways that the debian installer could be improved upon. With that data, we developed a report, one of which was presented at DebConf 2023 in Kochi, India, by one of our team members.
Using the ubuntu-based RetroPie Linux distribution, I established a retro game emulator on my Raspberry Pi 4. I then set up scripts to track boot up and boot down times to track the time playing on the system, and automatically push them to GitHub.
Linux ProficiencyEmpirium is a game I developed in collaboration with a few classmates built entirely in the Greenfoot Java game engine. I was principally responsible for the game's core mechanics and gameplay, as well as the sound design and music. It was developed in my first semester of college, and was my first experience with Java.
